The 2021 vintage proved particularly challenging in Champagne. Marked by spring frost episodes, followed by a very wet spring and early summer, it led to significant downy mildew pressure. These conditions required rigorous and consistent work in the vineyard. Despite this complex context, the parcels delivered measured yields, with healthy and well-balanced rapes, particularly for Chardonnay. A sunnier end to the summer allowed for good ripeness, while preserving a pronounced acidity and a bright freshness, hallmarks of the vintage.

A bright, pale gold color with a clear and crystalline appearance. Fine and persistent bubbles form a delicate bead, highlighting the wine’s purity and elegance.

The first nose opens with a vibrant citrus freshness, combining zested lemon and white grapefruit, accompanied by delicate white floral notes. The overall profile is fine and airy, supported by a clean minerality that brings precision and elegance.
The attack is lively and saline, highlighted by an elegant tension. The palate unfolds with notes of candied citrus and white peach, sometimes lifted by a hint of ripe pear. The bubbles, dynamic yet refined, lead into a persistent finish marked by chalky minerality and subtle pastry notes.
This champagne pairs wonderfully with seafood dishes or white fish.
